Guest guest
When you all talk about leg pain, does it feel sort of like growing pains (the pains we had as a child when we hit growth spurts)? I have been having leg pains constantly for almost a month---I jokingly told my husband I must be hitting a growth spurt. LOL However, these pains are so horrible, I cannot stand to allow my legs to keep still. I have to keep them moving or the pain just about drives me bonkers. I will sit in the evenings and jiggle them. Also, someone mentioned the hand pain---I often have pain in the palms of my hands---crazy as it sounds. Never had that happen until 2 years ago. Sometimes it hurts so bad that I cannot hold a coffee mug let alone anything else. I read somewhere that TMJ is a sign---I was diagnosed with TMJ years ago. Have used a night bite, anti-inflammatories, etc and my mouth still will not open all the way. I saw a specialist who referred me to another dental surgeon, saying I needed the surgery to " unhinge " my jaw and to sew the hinge back into place. The dental surgeon refused to take my insuracne (even though I got pre-certified) so I never had anymore done with it. I read all these emails and realize that I am not alone in this---there are others experiencing the same thing and knowing I have a place to come to (this list) takes a big burden off of my shoulders! I have not shared any of this with anyone outside my immediate family and this list---until yesterday. I told one of my best friends and thank God, she is supportive and *believes* me! :-) She has read alot about FM and CFS and said she was wondering if I had either one (we have made plans--- too many times to count---to get together but I always have to cancel because of fatigue or pain).
