UPDATE On My Daughters Assault

Actually it's considered a sexually battery. We, as a family (except

for my son who turned 17th today), went to our first counseling

session. It was a good one. It brought out a lot of my own fears when

I was molested at the age of 4. I always said THAT wasn't going to

happen to MY little girl...and it did. So, I'm facing my failure to

protect my daughter against something that happened to me at a young

age. Lacey also found MORE evidence in our front yard (and we have NO

idea how it got there unless that kid put it there). We turned in this

new evidence and the cop that came this time wasn't the jerk that

messed up the case in the first place (Officer Ken Wells). BUT, we

talked to the Sheriff, face to face, and he told me, my husband, and

my father (who is a retired Sgt. of Detectives) that this officer was

leaving the Madera Sheriff's Office and going to Clovis Police Dept.

THEN last night when this other officer came he told us that Officer

Wells is being promoted to Sergeant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I almost threw

up I was sooooo sick. So next week we are going to the media AND our

counselor (through our church) is getting an attorney in Sacramento,

that deals with these cases alone. It's about 2 1/2 hrs. from us but I

pray someone can help us take on the County of Madera, The Sheriff's

Office (including the Sheriff himself and Officer Wells), Valley

Children's Hospital (for messing up the evidence), and the kids'

parents. We have a HUGH case here and there is A LOT of documented

paperwork showing and proving THEIR mess up. Plus the counselor said

we have to get an attorney AWAY from the Central Valley (where we

are). My family and I are putting up a fight and we are NOT going to

quit until I feel justice IS done. Also the counselor said there ARE

laws in the books of California already (so I don't have to go to have

one made...which I WILL do if I HAVE to....anything for my daughter).

It's just that these mountain folk don't want to step on anyone's toes

(especially powerful, rich, influential ones...aka Valley Children's,

the county, the SO, and Fresno State University-where the kids father

works as a professor). All of this while in a MAJOR Lupus flare...who

says we Lupies are lazy! But I LOOK fine and healthy LOL (all of you

know THAT joke). More prayers are needed for this uphill battle for

justice.
