Guest guest
Hello, I want to say hi and welcome to all the new members to the group. My name is Garry, I'm 34 and was diagnosed with SLE in '99. I am sorry for everything that is going on but keep your chin up and remember that your LUPIES family is here for you and will pray for you. I hope that your tests come back with good results; so you can really enjoy your well deserved vacation. I want to apologize for not being as active as I want to be but I have been in the hospital 6 out of 7 months this year, so far so good for this month (knock on wood). On top of all the hospital stays the drs also discovered I have Osteoperosis in my lower back. They are having a real hard time getting my coumadin leveled out. I am going to have to get my other hip replaced I have a feeling it is going to be REAL soon. I am in constant pain, I can't sleep on that side and I have a hard time getting up and down. I can't even cross my left leg anymore because it hurts. I just got back from taking my wife and kids to Amarillo. My wife wouldn't go far because this hasn't been a good year for me. We took the kids to the amusement park, zoo, and the museum at West Texas A&M University. The kids really liked the Hampton Inn where we stayed for 3 days. Thank You for listening to me.
