Guest guest
For those of you who take dhea, in what form do you take it, where do you get it, and what are the symptoms that tell you you need it? Thanks! ~Alyce

The vaginal atrophy is more of a menopausal symptom. Although there's probably a thyroid or adrenal link somehow. You can get over-the-counter DHEA or 7-keto-DHEA supplements. The 7-keto is more expensive, but it's supposed to be a lot better in that it doesn't cause the facial outbreaks or deepening of voice that plain DHEA can. I would recommend not using even 7-keto DHEA unless you have your levels tested first. You can do a saliva test for DHEA, cortisol, and other hormones without needing a doctors prescription.
