Good news today...Tom may be released from the hospital tomorrow! Hooray! The last three rounds of blood tests showed no signs of continued bleeding. Maybe the good platelets in the transfused blood caused the leaks to finally clot. Whatever the reason, we are very thankful for the good report.

Tom has been allowed to have real food again today. While that has been a wonderful improvement, he has had a little more pain in his belly today, possibly related to getting used to food again. Hopefully he'll be home tomorrow to enjoy some chicken soup from and a delicious roast chicken from Barbara. If not, we might save him some leftovers.

Although we wish Larry hadn't had to return to the hospital, it has been nice to see him and Debbie again. Debbie is such a good hostess...she has hot chocolate and tea in the room for all Larry's visitors. They are both so upbeat about everything that it helps the rest of keep our spirits high.

Calvert is here...I'm going to sign off now. I'll let you know what happens tomorrow.Kathy
