Hi everyone! It's . I am pretty much exactly 48 hours post op and doing pretty well. I am feeling really sore and my neck it hurting a lot but other than that I am doing great. I have been up walking, I have been in a regular room since last night, and I probably will be discharged tomorrow. I just have to be able to walk more and do things on my own. I am nervous about taking a shower later but it has to be done.

The surgery went well. My Chiari was worse than they thought. I have had several imaging studies done but none of them showed how bad thing were. Dr Oro said, " It was really crowded " and I have something on my nerves. He said it was like a bead or something because of all the constant compression. It is probably what is causing pain in my shoulders but he couldn't do anything about it because it may paralyze me. That's how I remember it at least, lol. No biggie, the worst part is over and physical therapy will help with the rest.

This is a really nice hospital! The nurses here are awesome. I think that they should train our local nurses. :-) Thank you for all of the prayers and phone calls. Sorry that I can't talk to everyone but I appreciate all the support.
