I am so sorry. Yours is a horrible story. This kid

and his family should really pay for this atrocity! This was not a

molesting (that is bad enough) but rape! I felt sorry for you but didn’t

know how bad it really was. I was hoping it was just a fondling incident

and Lacey was real young and could get over it pretty well in time. This

will never leave her; I know this to be a fact as I was raped at about 9 years

old myself. . I am sorry it happened to you too. How could

you have known? We just can’t have our eyes on them every minute

and we can’t scare the kids so much they will be afraid of everyone they

meet either. –You must have found my letter to be offensive.

I am really really sorry. Keep after those cops and keep taking her to a

shrink. You must be a mild and kind person to hold your anger back so

well from that scummy family. I congratulate you on your Christian

self-control.

The kid is over 12 yrs. old; he penetrated her with his penis AND a

tampon (with a HARD plastic applicator...I do not

use tampons either).

The kid told her " not to tell " because

he will get in trouble and if

she DID tell " their secret " that he

would have an older girlfriend

beat her up. We are acting like nothing

happened...we went on with our

lives but Lacey is showing ALL the signs that you

have mentioned. She

NEVERS wets the bed but now she has done it twice

since the assault

occured. Plus this is the 2nd time this kid has

done this to her. The

law says that if there is 4 or more years

seperating the victim and

the perp. then there has been a crime committed.

We just found out

from the DA's office that they are taking the kid

to trial. THANK GOD!

But we STILL haven't found an attorney to take our

case...we are still

praying for one though. The parents aren't taking

this seriously. They

STILL haven't punished the kid. He was even riding

his bike on our

property today...coming down our driveway and

turning around.

And I agree with you that I am more traumatized

right now because I

had it happen to me when I was 4 and I STILL carry

this horrible

memory. I did NOT want what happened to me happen

to her....and it

did...THAT'S why I feel I have failed her. Thanks

for responding...I

know A LOT of the messages getting pushed to the

back and no one sees

them.
