Guest guest
, I started going to the doctors for my FMS in 1983--when I was 19 years old. I've lived my whole life with this. I've lived a fairly 'normal' life, but it hasn't been easy and so many people, and doctors have 'judged' me " it's all in my head " , etc, etc, that I am sure that i've developed a complex because of it! Doctor-induced depression or doctor-induced psychosis maybe? I have hypoglycemia! My blood sugar runs between 42 and 80...when it gets below 50, I get confused, slur my words (like i'm drunk), am dizzy, ornery and my husband hands me some OJ! It happens so often, that it's not even an event anymore...I went to the ER once as I thought I was dying and 10 min after giving me the IV sugar I was fine and went home. In 1989, before I knew that my blood sugar tends to run very low...I was breast feeding my daugher and I was fasting (as I was a chronic dieter-as i've always been chunky) and I felt really bad and went to the doctor crying, I thought I was having a stroke or something...you know what he did for me? He gave me a shot of valium and told me to see a psychiatrist!! (he never bothered to even try to figure out why I was feeling like I was!). I went home and ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and 10 min later, I was a normal person again!!! CHERRY JUICE-I had a friend of mine (who has arthritis and is 84) tell me that she is pain free and the stiffness is gone, she has been trying cherry juice...has anyone else tried this??? kmnewberry@... _________________________________________________________________ Join the world’s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com
