Guest guest
Hi, I had a problem logging in awhile back and had to change my post name slightly, I am " sbestmom " . I am a long time member and the occasional poster. Any thoughts on the following would be greatly appreciated. My 23 yr DD has PSC. Her numbers indicated AIH overlap, but a biopsy was negative. She was prescribed IMURAN for colitis, and her liver numbers suddenly improved 40%. She is P ANCA positive, We have been told her disease is spread thru out her liver. Some areas look completely normal. She is being listed for transplant, as a precautionary, but with this marked improvement her meld has dropped. Could this possibly be PSC/ Autoimmune Cholagitis overlap given her P ANCA is positive? She feels good, but her numbers were horrible until the Imuran. I am happy but a bit puzzled, and want to make sure she get the correct treatment. Thank you, Cathy
