LOCATION: PORTLAND

This employment opportunity is with the Health Services, Policy Planning and

Performance Measurement Office, which is part of the Department of Human

Services (DHS). There is one full-time opening located in PORTLAND. This

position is represented by a union.

This recruitment announcement will be used to establish a list of qualified

candidates to fill the current vacancy and may be used to fill future vacancies

as they occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

Two years experience with responsibility for program or project monitoring and

coordination is required. The experience must have included program evaluation

responsibility. Experience working with migrant/seasonal farmworkers and their

health care issues.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Help organizations, groups and communities obtain and use migrant/seasonal

farmworker (MSFW) population data and health information. Coordinate with other

organizations to focus more technical assistance on MSFW projects. Assist

communities with starting new Migrant Community Health Centers. Develop working

relationships with agencies and foundations to improve funding for MSFW

projects. Help improve infrastructure that supports MSFW services. Serve as a

resource person on farmworker issues & concerns.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Travel. You must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving

record.
