Nelly,

I don't know about Florida, but in Minnesota it is hard to get money

out of someone who has died and there is not money in the estate. Is

there any estate monies left to pay on this? I worked for an

attorney's office a few years ago and we represented a widow who the

IRS was trying to say her husband owed them money. This went on for

quite some time. Finally, the attorney asked if I would please draft

a letter and see what could be done. I just wrote the the person in

question was deceased. We had sent them several certified copies of

the death certificate, that there was no money left in the estate,

and therefore, as was stated several times before, the person in

question was deceased. I then asked them, " what part of dead did you

not understand? " She never heard from the IRS again. It might be

worth a shot, but again, I don't know what the laws are where you are

at.
