Hi Sharon, We are almost neighbors, I live close to Knoxville,I am 54 and I have

had fibro for several years right now I am feeling pretty good, I just hope it

will last, but you know how it is I may be so tired in the morning I won't be

able to get out of the bed. I have 3 grandchildren I don't think I could keep up

with a teenager. Just take your meds and rest a lot, I think I feel better the

more I rest. At least this group knows how you feel and that helps a lot.You can

vent anytime you want to here. Audie

Re: leg pain, hand pain, and just plain pain.

i have leg pain, arm and hand pain. the leg pain is just about every

night..but some unbearable when i've been up moving around all day.

if i go shopping, clean house, anything that keeps me up and moving i

pay big time that night. thank god i am ususally ok the next

day,,,not too much carry over...but really tired.

there seems to be no real rime or reason for the pain in my arms.

i've often told my mother hat if i ever had a heart attack i'd never

know it by the pains in my arms. i do know that quick weather

chamges cause me to hurt. sometimes my fingers hurt but that usually

while doing a lot of typing.

it's really frustrating to now make long range plans not knowing how

your going to feel.

another really frustration thing for me is the fibro fog. i've had

my job for 22 years and have always loved it because a lot of mulit-

tasking was involved and therefore never gets boring. the multi-

tasking is now feeding my depression. i can't seem to switch gears

and go with the flow as fast. thank you jesus, i have the most

wonderful understanding boss. and he tries to help me by being very

patient and make suggestions on ways to do things. he bought me a

daytimer and that's helped tremendously...i write every conversation

down.

it's also frustrating to have a 14 year old that now thinks that at

52 i'm old.....really old. because i can't keep up with him and do

all the things that he wants to do. i guess i try to conpensate for

it by letting him stay on the go all the time. but sometimes i'd

like to go too and know that i could never keep up with him.

doctors have me on celebrex, flexeril, paqucil and ambien. and yes

there have been times i've taken them all. i try to ease back some

on the weekends when i know that i can just lay around.

i really like these messages...helps me to understand that i'm

not " too " crazy and others are there with me.

i've gone to a local support group but was not what i expected after

a couple of week. so not worth the time to stay out later.

thanks for letting me vent.
