Guest guest
Hey gang, thanks for all of the support. I was released this evening in order to get some time at home before going to washington university in STL on monday morning. My liver numbers are all back up and I am already jaundiced so things are progressing nicely. Basically the hospital I go to is close enough to my family that they can help my wife out with our 3 sons while I am medically incarcerated but they are a small hospital and are limited by capacity, not capabilities. So, rather than screw my appointment to see the best in the area on monday by performing another ERCP and installing 2 new stents and keeping me for a week, they reluctantly sent me home with drugs and made me promise on a stack of PDR's that if I ran a fever I would come back! I also had them get me copies of all of my medical records for the last year so that I can start a file for my own needs. I have missed 2 weeks of work because of nausea, pain, and exhaustion not counting the 5 weeks I have missed already due to being in the big house (HOSPITAL!). Well, enough of all this, I havent had a decent nights sleep in a week and Im gonna crash while the vicodin is still flowing! Thank you all again and I hope that everybody is doing as well as their situation allows. Think positive, keep your faith, and type to your friends! With deepest gratitude, Rob in STL
