What are the symptoms? Headaches, Sleep disturbance, Joint & Muscle pain, and

all the other fun stuff

Has you illness been diagnosed? Yes, 9 years ago

How long did you suffer before you got help? 3 months, my doctor had gone to a

seminar and I had a appointment the next day and he knew just where to poke, the

sad thing is I was having a good day that day, too. haha figures!

Is there a time that you can remember when it started? the 3rd day of school in

my sophomore year of high school. I got sick with some stomach flu, then went

back to school then got sick again, went back and got sick with something else

and that was the routine til November when the " Flu " started that would not go

away. I was going to school on half days because the pain was too much and

December the doctor told my mother to pull me out of school and I was homebound

taught.

Some of us have found lack of exercise we are overweight. Have you found this to

be a problem also? No, I was lucky my family had a genetic history of high

matmolism.

Are you on disability? No

What have you found that helps ease the pain, warm baths, medications etc.?

relaxation, hot showers, reading, & medication

Do you have sleep problems? How do you deal with it? Yes, I try going to bed

early so that I could get (haha) at least 8 hours but in bed for 10 hours, it

gives me time to awake and go back to sleep, but after that long my back begins

to hurt so sometimes I have to get up earlier that I want too.

Do you have family that understands your illness? My father understands because

he went through it from the beginning but my husband says he does but he actions

speak louder then words

Some have found certain foods causes problems with CFS or Fibro, have you?

Probably but I have not paid attention.

What type of Doctor have you found that has helped you the most? Rheumatology
