Guest guest
Just a note that something I have learned in my years of self treatment. Due to a lack of funds for testing I have had to do alot of guesswork about my symptoms and their cures. I can just about count on ONCE every 6-8 months thinking " Oh my, what have I done to myself now? " . This is not from actually doing any harm to myself but from the lack of confidence of not having testing and a doctor looking over my shoulder! Every flu season I get at least a few headaches and muscle pains and I ALWAYS think it is thyroid related at first! Fever? My first thought is that I have gone hyper. ALWAYS. So back to my own rules I have set for myself.. First, it is NOT a symptom till I have had it at least a week! Then I better double check to see if it is still not caused by something else! Change of products I use in the laundry.. I developed chest congestion immediately from this and thought I was getting hypo again. Started itching badly one day at work.. thought I was hyper.. turns out one of the dogs I groomed had a horrid yeast infection and soon as I took my shower I was fine. You get the picture. While it pays to be aware of anything going on in your body while self-medicating, don't be too quick to blame it on everything you feel. Look around first, you may find another too simple answer! *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat? Diabetes?
