Guest guest
, There is a very good allergy specialist in Michigan that a lot of people go to, because there is no one like it on the East Coast nor the West Coast from what understand. They use the sublingual drop treatments that are supposed to work so much better than the other types. The doctor's name there is Dr. Croker, and their office is called Allergy Associates of LaCrosse. A gal I know in upstate New York told me she went there, and said it was actually even a lot cheaper for her to go see them instead of somebody locally. She also told meow much 8it had finally helped her with her problems. I noticed the same thing when I called the allergists in a city nearby myself - they wanted more than twice as much as Allergy Associates of LaCrosse jsut to start out Anyway, you might want to look them up on the web agive them a call and see what they have to say. I know they have helped a lot of people. ~Inga Flonase is a glucocorticoid (steroidal in nature), so it's going to take some time for it to work on the nasal passages. It does help relieve inflammation and swelling in there, but it's SO expensive for one of those tiny little sprayer bottles. I'm going to order some as soon as I see a hole in my budget to do it with, and I will stay on it yr round, the way I used to. It works, but I've just not been able to afford it, however. For me, it takes the Flonase, plus Allegra, plus a decongestant (periodocally-only), to see a vast improvement. I have yr round allergies (oak, cedar, St. Augustine grass, molds, dust mite, plus industrial stuff and car exhaust, yuk!), so it's necessary for me to have something ALL the time. The crap in the air, water, and food in this society today does not make for a normal existence, even if a person had decent adrenal function, they won't have by the time they've reached a certain point in life, lol. Zyrtec gives me postural hypotension (when I stand up and walk around or bend over), Claritin is not working on me like it used to, and is making me groggy and foggy, but Allegra works well for me, but is very expensive here in the U.S., so I would have to order it overseas to afford it, just haven't done it yet. > Date: Mon, 21 Mar 2005 17:34:06 -0600 > > Subject: OT: Zyrtec-D and Flonase > > I finally got my husband to go to the doctor after a week of major nasal > congestion and fatigue.
