In this house we actually don't have the child proof locks on our cabinets -

ANYMORE.

My cats used to get into the cubboard, the hanging ones, and eat chips. If I

leave chips out, they will eat them, they will chew open a sealed bag, they

just know what's in there.

They will eat bread, thru the bag, only one of my cats eats tomatoes, but she

will eat half of three tomatoes - not one whole one.

I can't find containers for cat food, they break into them. So I put a heavy

container on top the catfood bin. One cat holds the lid open, another cat

shovels the food out of the bin for the others. If all else fails, they try

knocking things over, sometimes there is food all over the floor - out of

nowhere! lol

One of my cats eats chocolate. And he drinks my coffee. Only HE makes a

mess!!

I don't even have any room in my own bed. One cat leans on my legs, one cat

is by me feet, one cat is next to my belly, one cat I have to push of my

pillow every night and she hisses at me!! the dogs sleep in front of my bed.

I LOVE THE MENAGERIE!!!!

Your cats sound like mine, always into something and knocking things

over! I love em' though they always make me laugh about something.

And I can relate about the bed thing, I have 5 and my boyfriend and I

never have any room! Some mornings I wake up sandwiched between

cats!! It's great! And I have 2 dogs too, one sleeps at the end of

the bed and one on the side! Pets are great, they help keep me

smiling despite how bad I feel!!!

Okay, all the recent kitty posts have amused me to no end. I have two

rambunctious kitties myself. Both are neutered males, ages 5 and 4.

The younger one has a lust for people food that amuses me endlessly.

Where a cat develops a taste for blueberry muffins, I don't know, but

his pursuit of muffins and other bakery items is epic. :-) If I don't

keep muffins stored in the microwave or fridge, regardless of the

container, he will get them off the counter and sample them all. He

frequently goes into my cupboards to check for any food items he

might be interested in eating. He also has door knobs figured out. If

it weren't for his pesky lack of opposable thumbs, I'm sure he'd be

opening and closing doors all day long.

My other cat is relief when it comes to getting into trouble. But

he's just as amusing. He is a cat I rescued from a stables I taught

lessons at. He'd been kicked in the head by a horse and should have

died. It took him a long time to get back to normal, and now he's

learning how to play with toys. It's the funniest thing in the world

to see. I wish I could describe it to you.

I'm grateful to have my kitties, because some days with this sucky

fibro are only made bearable by their antics and unconditional love.

I don't mind being shoved to one tiny area of the bed by them because

of this. It makes it all worth it.

Hugs to everyone,
