Guest guest
I was reminded of the need for unused medical supplies when I passed the office of the surgeon who did some microsurgery on my son's hand many years ago. The surgeon is a volunteer with a group that provides care on Native American reservations. After my surgery and recovery, I had many items such as IV supplies and bandages that were in open boxes, but still in sterile packaging. Someone from his group picked them up and they were sent to wherever they were needed. They cannot be returned to the medical supply people or used in any other way, so -- if you have items that you don't need anymore -- you might consider contacting Doctors Without Borders or a similar group.
