Your welcome Dawn, and I wish you didn't have to go through any of

this, but at least you have all of us to go thru this with.....

It's difficult to function at times, and there have been many times

that I have wanted to give in to this disease - trust me, I think

it's been at least 1 year since I have had any sort of break - most

likely longer alot of the members can tell you - I seem to be the one

who doesn't get any breaks whatsoever - but I " try " to listen to my

body if it says rest, then I rest, but then I also push myself which

in the long runs makes things worse for me - you have to be a

fighter! For me I just keep saying to myself over and over in my head

that I WILL NOT let this disease beat me- I mean in the end I know it

will but until then I will fight this wolf until I just can't any

longer. I just love my paxil - without it - I'd be gone.....

As for how do I cope with the fevers, well it's difficult, I take 3

extra strength tylenol and deal with the chills, etc. that come with

the high fevers and then within an hour or two the fever breaks until

the next day. - When my body allows or at night when I can't sleep I

go and play games at www.pogo.com it gets my mind off my health

issues...

Just try to hang in there hon, we are all here for you, alot of us

have been in your shoes, but just remember NO 2 lupus patients are

alike...

Hugs

Deanna
