What are the symptoms? pain, depression, visual disturbances, irritable bowel

and bladder, headaches, muscle spasms, numbness tingling in hands and feet,

periods of insomnia along with excessive sleep patterns at times, memory

problems

Has you illness been diagnosed? Yes

How long did you suffer before you got help? about 3 months until I was

diagnosed, then Rheumatologist discharged me

Is there a time that you can remember when it started? 11 years ago when it was

at it's worst, but probably 10 years prior to that

Some of us have found lack of exercise we are overweight. Have you

found this to be a problem also? Yes

Are you on disability? Have applied for over 3 years, always denied

If you are any pointers for others trying to get on disability? Wish I knew

What have you found that helps ease the pain, warm baths, medications

etc.? Medications- combinations of antidepressants, non steroidal anti

inflammatories, lidoderm patches, ketamine gel, muscle relaxers and Oxycontin

Do you have sleep problems? How do you deal with it? There are times when I

can't sleep until 4 AM, then there are times when I can't stay awake.

Do you have family that understands your illness? No

Some have found certain foods causes problems with CFS or Fibro, have

you? Only those I am allergic too

What type of Doctor have you found that has helped you the most? My family

doctor has helped me most, although I have a Rheumatologist
