Guest guest
Hi, in your shoes I would contact your local congressman/woman and tell them what has happened. Ask for your rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act, and hit that landlord where he hurts... right in his rear pockets. What a moron. That guy should be hung up by his wallet and severely chastised in public for his heartless and thoughtless behavior. Two months, and he throws you out because of his neglect. Not a good landlord, at all. Tell him you are citing the Americans with Disabilities Act, and reporting him to the local authorities. See what he has to say about that. Also, in most states, if not all, you have the right to thirty days notice of eviction, no matter what the reason. He owes you rent for the balance of this month, and something for damages for your costs in moving. Small Claims court is a good option. Loving hugs, MM
