Gosh I can't believe he actually declared that FMS is not a disability. I for one would like to educate him differently. I had a friend that had it so bad that she has had seizures and everything else from it. Her hubby had to carry her to the bathroom some nights. It amazes me how people think when they don't obviously do enough research to make an educated decision, effecting a lot of people. All I can do is pray for him, and hope that he gets enlightened at some point. Love, and God Bless, alyle-cheryl wrote:

For Californians

Subject: FMS (not CFS/ME) Law-in California bad news for disabled people...

Good news for separating FM from CFS, bad news for misdiagnosed and sick people.

Governor Arnold Scwartsnager (spelling???), signed into law that FMS IS NOT a DISIBILITY!

Law takes affect Jan 2005.

Already people who left jobs permanently with benefits in the last 7 years are being bounced out of disability benefits.

Two I know of are miss diagnosed with FMS; they are neurologically sick and barely functional.

This may be a very defining moment in separating FMS from CFS/ME for many . Which is GREAT.

But sick people diagnosed or labeled wrong are suffering more.
