New Member from DFW area with specific questions

Hello all -- I'm a new member (though certainly not new to

fibromyalgia.

I was wondering if any of you know about a support group that might

be in the Dallas-Fort Worth Texas area.

When I was first diagnosed I was part of a support group through the

UTSW med center rheumatologist I was seeing. Sadly I lost touch with

them and that doctor doesn't appear to be practicing there anymore so

I'm kind of at a loss.

Also, I've had a lot of trouble with a lot of specialists

(opthamologist, gynecologist for examle) who say " you know most

doctors don't even believe that fibromyalgia is a real disease "

(GGRRRR!) so I'm trying to get in touch with others in the area who

may know of physicians who are not quite that bone-headed.
