I went through similar journeys with both of my parents at different times in their lives. Now that they are both gone to their rewards, I still miss them very much, but know that I have done my best in that regard. I have no regrets about how I treated them or what I may have sacrificed on their behalf. Of course, it had a strong effect on my physical condition, and of course, I went into a flare after each of them passed away, but to me it was worth it.
