Do any of you suffer from reactions to chemicals in cleaners or juices from

food? How do you deal with it? I have some lotion to use daily and then some

ointment to use for outbreaks but is there anything else out there to keep it

from happening in the first place? Are there ANY kind of meds or anything to

keep the 'allergies' from occurring at all? I hate having to wear gloves (two

sets actually...cotton and then either latex for cooking or the yellow rubber

gloves for cleaning) every time I cook or clean.

This was one thing that completely amazed me as being related to fibro as I had

this problem before I got my fibro diagnosis and then read in several books that

they often go together. And my migraines and my dizziness and my forgetfulness

and clumsiness and of course the brainfog. My 8 year old daughter finds me to

be a great source of amusement and entertainment at times and I must admit half

of the time I am quite funny. At least I know I'm not just losing my

mind...there's a reason for all of it. It's funny though...everything else has

been building for years, including the degree of pain, but the chemical

sensitivities just came on all of a sudden about a year ago. I hadn't changed

anything in my cooking or cleaning habits and all of a sudden my body turns on

me and decides it doesn't like all of this stuff anymore :( And it's only my

hands (and more specifically my index finger on my right hand...the dominant one

of course) that I have these problems with. This fibro stuff makes NO sense

whatsoever and it stinks bigtime.

Sorry for rambling...just having a little flare in pain and a breakout on my

hand again and wishing I could just have ONE day with NO problems :(

Thanks for listening...
