Guest guest
My poor hubby had his third colonoscopy in 2 months this morning. This one was to determine if he truly has dysplasia and therefore needs a colectomy and if he has Crohn's or UC. He was originally dx with Crohn's but every doctor, at least recently has questioned that diagnosis since UC usually goes hand in hand with PSC. The dr who did the colonoscopy today said things looked pretty good. He had 2 polyps removed which we'll know about in 2- 4 weeks. He also said that he does not have Crohn's or UC. He has what they're calling PSC- IBD which basically means he has irritable bowel disease that is caused by the PSC. The really good news is that his small intestine is not affected. We really needed some good news after this last year.
