Crackpot theories that docs gave Janie over the years

just because it CAN'T be thyroid, you'd think I was making it up.

I " m with you, . When I went from doc to doc all those years that

I was suffering miserably on T4-only meds, I was told I either had

a " metabolism disorder " , or a " glycogen storage disease " , or

a " mitochrondrial problem. " I suffered through a muscle biopsy, and a

strange test where you grasp a ball to cause a painful buildup of

lactic acid while they drew lots of blood. I did an adrenal test that

required me to be in the hospital for hours. I drank a sugar syrup to

diagnose potential hypoglycemia. Years and years of every stupid,

idiot test you can imagine.

And all along....it was simply that my thyroid was INADEQUATELY

TREATED and T4-only meds SUCK and should have been flushed down the

toilets.
