Guest guest
Would it be a good idea to get a pick so they don’t have to keep sticking you all the time? I had that done and kept the pick in for several months. It was a big relief! From: lavndr32 Sent: Tuesday, July 13, 2004 11:08 AM To: LUPIES Subject: 25ways/Hospital. I went, it was for a nuclear test on my gall bladder because I haven't been able to eat anything but jell-o w/out throwing up for almost since June 1st. They stuck me nine times trying to get an IV in and my veins kept blowing, they've gotten so thin and uncooperative. He wanted to have me leave and come back sometime because he was worrried about sticking me too much after 4x and I told them no way I wanted the tests done and over with. I just started crying and crying 'casuse I'm so sick of being sick! He said my vein issue may due to the Lupus and veins being muscle and of course because I've been in and out of the ER so much lately and they're ALWAYS taking blood and hooking me up to IV's etc that my veins are just getting weaker and weaker. But also suggested that not only am I having an issue w/my gall bladder (it's non- functioning) he feels it could be my pancreas as well. I'm gonna research that thru today. Hope you're all well, and I will return soon...off to another appt. Take care!
