Guest guest
My daughter is 15 and incontinent. She has multiple anomalies. Now she is allergic to the polymers in attends. Medicaid paid for 12 cloth diapers. They are also paying for non-polymer pads to put in the cloth diapers, her cathethers, betadine, surgilube, etc. Didn't happen until she was 12 and couldn't get daycare (Ohio). Missy, I have job coached three adults with autism and am on my 4th. They do very well in a repetitive job that is not in the public (i.e, grocery stores and restaurants). They do better in assembly jobs (I have 2 in the same plant and they are the also the top 2 producers of parts. They also do their own quality assurance; the bad parts are set apart from the good parts). Another upside to this is they are usually more able to procure (better) benefits. Keep the faith, Mom; you've go a handle on it.
