Guest guest
Dear Barb,Thanks for your response. It is very assuring to me. I just feel better every week. I'm ready to start exercising again now, too. I will enjoy my Christmas vacation now! And when I go in for my next appt. this month with my hepatologist, I'll be able to tell her more and ask more specific questions. I was diagnosed with PSC in 2003 and after 4 ERCP's my numbers when down and only the ALK remaining above normal. I was symptom free for 4 years but I knew the PSC was still there - but life was good. This past May my numbers started climbing and after repeated tests I am moving to the next stage of life with PSC and am being to be evaluated at the University of Minnesota's Liver Transplant Center. I believe it may be a few years before a TX and plan to live as normal as possible. I thank god every day for the 4 years of normal life. Remission is possible but the disease is always there.
