Thank you to everyone! I feel encouraged to not dwell on the negatives of this horrible disease. I live in Melbourne and will try to contact the Alfred's liver unit. As the Children's Hospital actually work in conjunction with the Alfred, it shouldn't be too difficult for a referral for a second opinion. Too bad if Olivia's paediatrician feels discouraged in my lack of trust in her. This is what happens when doctors don't communicate with me. They actually get offended when I ask for a copy of my daughter's blood results. At least through here I will know of what questions to ask. Thank you all so much!I have a feeling that I will be a regular to this forum. Especially to those that replied to me in regards to their children, shared information, I believe, will make us stronger. Ignorance is not always bliss. -Dora
