Hi all,This is very disturbing:http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3032619/#27932820The NBC Nightly News reported that women are 30% less likely to get a liver transplant using the current MELD scoring system. The MELD system has removed racial disparity in allocating livers, but for some reason has introduced a significant gender disparity. As it is, the MELD system doesn't seem to be very friendly to those of us with PSC.Marie
