Guest guest
Welcome , I am glad you found us. This is a friendly place with lots of good information. I am 57 but have had lupus since a teen. I didn’t get a proper dx until I was in my early 40’s. I have lupus, fibromyalgia, arthritis, osteoporosis, disk degeneration, TMJ dysfunction, IBS, beguine tremors, interstitial cystitis, and cognitive dysfunction (lupus fog). I am a cancer survivor and have had several brain seizures and a brain hemorrhage about 7 ½ yrs. ago. Lots of the lupies here have multiple illnesses, some of which (like mine) may have nothing to do with lupus. Feel free to express yourself anyway you like. I suffer from depression, do you? Depression is a chemical problem that people with lupus and fibromyalgia get. I take meds for it. The other thing that happens to us is lack of REM sleep. I take sleeping pills to help me. If you can get to a pain management center, I recommend it. Again, Welcome,
Guest guest
thank you for your response Cheryl Yes i do suffer from depression from i am taking sarafem which is a prettier word for what it actually is ( PROZAC) I also have problems sleeping with is why i have stock in tylenol pm (lol), my rheumy gave me flexiril to take at night before bed to help with the muscle aches but it still didn;t help me to get into a deep sleep.I am looking into pain management because if this is how it is going to be for the rest of my life then i need to have some pain coping strategies to prepare and i need a doctor to listen to me whne i say it interferes with my quality of life-- - In LUPIES , " lyle-cheryl " wrote: > > > > > > > Welcome , > > I am glad you found us.
