Guest guest
We got home from the hospital yesterday evening. is feeling a little better. He's on a boat load of meds including an IV antibiotic I have to give him through his PICC line every 8 hours. His best friend came and hung out with him while I was at dance class, which lifted his spirits. They've been playing video games. He's scheduled for his pulmonary function test and psychological eval Feb 12. His cardiac stress test isn't until March 2. We're going to call his coordinator and see if he can have it done at our local hospital (where he works) sooner. He needs to be listed NOW! Other than some fluid retention and the tube hanging out of his arm that freaks him out, he seems to be doing better. He's still a bit emotional but I also read on the Flagyl that one of the side effects is mood swings. We are both SO ready to get him transplanted and move on with life. Really though, I guess he's been pretty fortunate. Until the last few months, he's felt pretty well and not had many symptoms but when it hit him, it hit HARD!
