, I was aghast at your doctor experience. Granted, it's not the

first time we have heard of all this idiocy, but it's still profound

to read it again. Disgusting.

As Zappa once said " Scientists tell us hydrogen is the most

common thing in the universe....but stupidity is much more

prevalent. "

and perhaps some of the recommended ' doctors.

on the same date, which I didn't notice and someone pointed out.

She DID prescribe Armour, so it wasn't all bad. She's more of a

bariatric doctor, though, and prescribed scads of appetite

suppressants, which I did NOT need as I was unable to eat,

anyway...prescribed metformin; when I told her that it made me ill

and tired, diarrhea, etc., her reaction was to triple the dose and

prescribe glyset, as well. I did not fill all of the prescriptions;

it became easier to just take them and not argue.

any time until I was in for an appointment (had to wait a month each

time for results). She wanted me to come in every month.

separate occasions; she finally said, " Well, we don't need to worry

about that. " My ferritin was 9; I asked the gynecologist about

getting the test, which she agreed to do.

> As for the " ' doc, " well, he was the absolute worst doctor

I've ever been to. Wanted to know why I'd want to be on Armour,

insisted that all of my problems were due to allergies, wanted to

order lots of very expensive tests, despite the fact that I'd

recently had testing done and had brought the results in to

him...threw a fit about my going to another doctor FIRST: " Why did

you go to HER and not to ME...!? "

mail to them. Doctors apparently can get onto their list just by

asking...
