Guest guest
Cigarettes are the ONLY thing that kept me upright for years. Every time I tried to quit, I could hardly move. Finally, I quit and took to the couch for nine months. I got sicker and sicker. During those nine months, I gained 50 pounds (on my 96-lb frame). For 14 years, I had been treated with gold, steroids and anti-inflammatories for a form of arthritis (ankylosing spondelytis) that I NEVER had. I was so used to feeling awful that it took me nine months to realize I was feeling worse than usual. Finally went to the doc and told him I was dying. He tested and found a TSH of 78. Yeah, I was dying! Val From: richkare@... Does anyone have any experience with either stomach/ digestive problems? Or an increase in thyroid problems after giving up cigarettes?
