Guest guest
Sorry I haven't posted any updates lately. was back in the hospital this past week for 9 days. When we went to clinic last Monday, his numbers were up and his blood pressure was bad so they decided to admit him. They did a biopsy last Friday. It was fine. They did an ERCP on Monday and it was fine too. His INR and creatinine were both really high during his stay. They're better now but still not " perfect. " Anyway, I was just wondering, how long after transplant do these things usually normalize? And how long should it take to get rid of the ascities? It's not bad now-they put in a drain while he was in the hospital and the first night drained 11 liters! They also removed his staples. He now has 2 open spots that I have to pack. It doesn't gross me out like it did at first. I can see a couple of internal stitches though! He freaks out and won't look at it at all. Really, I think it looks pretty good. He's starting to get around better but is still pretty weak. Over all he's doing pretty well though....and looks great! I realized the other day for the first time in the 6 years I've known him that he has some freckles on his forehead!
