Guest guest
I listened in on a great webinar this morning about Microsoft HealthVault. It’s a place you can go to enter your medical data. Your doctors can access it if you give them permission. If you are managing health care for a parent or child and they have to go to the emergency room, you can make their entire health history available to the doctor there. It’ll tie into applications that your health providers use. Right now, it ties into · ActivePHR from ActiveHealth Management · Heart360 Cardiovascular Wellness Center from American Heart Association and American Stroke Association · Heart Profilers from American Heart Association and Thomson Reuters · Trial X from Applied Informatics, Inc. · ICE: In Case of Emergency from CapMed · registeR4Health from CitiusTech · HealthCentral.com Health Tools from HealthCentral.com · Healthy Circles from Healthy Circles · Personal Health Record from Lifeclinic.com · OneTouch® Zoom™ from LifeScan, Inc., a & Company And a whole bunch more – with new ones being added in all the time. Signing up is free. All you need is a Live ID. The different services may charge. I think this has real potential! Nita
