Guest guest
My sister-in-law was diagnosed with prolactinoma, a tumor on the pituitary that causes high prolactin levels (and causes her to produce milk, among other symptoms). I'm not sure how the tumor was diagnosed, but it's my understanding that it's usually by MRI. Anyway, I Googled Prolactinoma, and found a connection between hypothyroid and high prolactin levels. She has also been diagnosed as hypothyroid, so I was wondering if anyone has had prolactin levels tested, or has been diagnosed with prolactinoma, and if Armour thyroid alone might help the symptoms (it seems to help so many other things that are really misdiagnosed hypothyroid symptoms). Just curious! I want to try to help her, if I can.... Thanks, Joyce
