Am I reading correctly that you do one grain, 1/2 grain, then 1/4

grain? How long (or days) has this been going on? How long after the 1

pm dose does the red face, etc. occur? The morning dose is when your

cortisol should be the highest. Have you done a 24 hour saliva adrenal

test? And...why not try dosing at 7 pm, 11 am and 3 pm, for

example...or something different......and see what happens?

Sounds puzzling. Are you taking any other medications or supplements?

Could you be eating something for lunch that's bothering you? How about

delaying your 1 pm dose to 2 or 3 pm, as a test, and see how that affects

your reaction?

Janie - you are reading correctly one grain, 1/2 grain & 1/4 grain.

I've done split doses sinces I started with the Armour & have always

had a hard time with the middle (afternoon) dose. The feeling usually

happens within oh probably 10 - 15 minutes of taking the Armour & last

for probably the same amount of time (maybe a little bit longer).

Haven't had a 24 hour saliva test - Doc. says doesn't look like

adrenals are involved (?) & I'm just not sure ? Does this look like

something adrenal?

If I did the 7pm, 11am & 3pm dosing - how would I change over i.e.

what/when would be the dosing?

Lynn, I'm on vitamins but usually take those in the morning & evening.

Not eating anything allegric for lunch - am pretty careful with what

I eat (whole, read foods) & it doesn't matter whether I take the dose

at 1 or 2 or 3pm - it's the same sensation just for that middle dose.

Quite puzzling indeed!

around my eyes). Why would I be having trouble with just this time of

my way up the ladder here!) & have no trouble with those.

As always - thanks for any help :-)

Are you doing it sublingually or swallowing?

I would try the same amount you are doing now, at the different

times suggested...and see.

You don't need a doctor's permission to do a 24 hour adrenal test.

In the LINKS section, there are 2 labs that do it--ZRT and Great

Smokies. But, you could see how the change does for you.
