Guest guest
- H. pylori has been mentioned before and, although I have cats (I'm well below the crazy old cat lady quota), I had a significant exposure to H. pylori thanks to my late MIL. She had a serious problem with oozing infection at a PEG feeding site with a severe H. pylori infection when she lived with us about 18 months before I was diagnosed. I learned too late how careless she had been with hand washing, etc. after touching her PEG site -- the H. pylori must have been everywhere. At the time of my diagnosis, the only indicator that anything was amiss was a sudden spike in my cholesterol, otherwise it may have been years before I had PSC symptoms and was diagnosed.
