Sorry about that! My DH is Dear Husband or Darling Husband, except on a

bad day,

when you can become creative with the D! ;-)

FMLA is Family Medical Leave Act. It protects you from being fired due

to a chronic illness or injury. So when you miss a bunch of days at

work, they can't give you grief about it. I work(ed) part time, so in

California they have AB220, or something like that. It is Assembly Bill

220, that is basically FMLA for part-timers.

I had to have my primary care physician and my neurologist write letters

to my employer stating that I had a chronic medical condition,

migraines. However, in May I was diagnosed with Fibro. The Physical

Medicine Dr. tied all the symptoms together; body aches/pains,

migraines, chronic fatigue, pressure point tenderness, insomnia, touch

sensitivity, negative results on blood testing, negative xray results,

forgetfulness/brain f*rts, jaw pain, yadda, yadda, yadda. I was

diagnosed in May and taken off work in late June. So far I've had two

accupuncture appointments and feel better, but not the best. Now if I

could just get my feet and legs to stop taking turns with sharp

pain/dull pain/sharp pain/dull pain. You know, it kind of makes every

day exciting, you never know what is gonna hurt and for how long!

Wa-hoo :-P

Best wishes to all and here's hoping for better days ahead for all of us!
