Guest guest
If you have just fairly recently started thyroid therapy, I would not get worried about this. I had my testosterone go very high at the beginning of thyroid therapy. It had not ever been high before. I did some research and found that testosterone can go high like this in adrenal fatigue. DHEA-S also can go high in adrenal fatigue. Adrenal problems tend to be really worsened by starting thyroid. I had very severe adrenal fatigue when I started thyroid. Both these things will correct themselves with time and proper thyroid replacement doses. If you are just starting out, then, you will just need to be patient untill your thyroid dose gets up high enough. It is very common to get hormone disturbances when there are thyroid and adrenal problems. The body gets very goofed up temporarily. I would just leave things alone and work on getting thyroid adjusted to a proper level and the hormones will work themselves out.
