Guest guest
Lee G, It's good to hear from you but I hate to read of your trouble with itching- it can be maddening! I will say cholestrymine was given to me back in 1997 when itching first became a problem. Then, I noticed some improvement although the itching did not cease. I didn't have any problem tolerating, either. In later years, when the PSC had worsened it didn't work as well and the switched me to Rifampin. I had more trouble getting it down then, too, because the nausea was out of control. I think it's a reasonable med for the doctor to begin with. Hoping it works well for you without any negatives.
