Guest guest
>>When I quit wearing the darn thing then stuff started slacking! << And I think that was just timing not anything to do with the support of the girdle. Actually I am proof of that theory. I have a 44 inch bustline and am 50 years old. I have worn a bra about 2 weeks in my entire life. My breasts do not sag! People seeing me do not know I am not wearing one! Doctors are amazed when they find I haven't one on... LOL I also never wore girdles and till I was 23 my abdomen was a flat as a pancake. It was weight from hypo and the following muscle wasting then two abdominal surgeries that ruined my flat tummy, nothing at all to do with clothing. Also when we are younger we are conscious of our tummies bulging so we tend to USE those muscles to hold it in thus keeping them in shape. As we age and stop worrying so much about what people think of us (LOL) we tend to stop the muscle contractions that used to hold it in & lose that muscle tone. I have had back trouble sine my early 20's which prevented me doing sit ups or other abdominal exercises. THAT hurt my build alot too! *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, " You're next. " They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals
