Guest guest
These are a few suggestions by Kathleen M. Reilly to help with stress: ALLOW FOR THE UNEXPECTED: Embrace a shift in your outlook every once in a while to keep yourself connctied and open to creative solutions. "Maybe it's crazy at your house in the morning, everyone's running, you're stressing and finally you say, 'Who's going to have an ice cream cone?" "The kids will look at you like you're insane, and then like they're the luckiest kids in the world. If you do that four times a year, how bad can it be?" Levine (author of Wish It, Dream It, Do It) WELCOME MISTAKES: Release yourself from perfection. "Everyone strives for perfection, which doesn't exist, " says Levine. "When you're striving for something that doesn't exist, it's a recipe for high stress." Give yourself permission to make mistakes, and use them as an opportunity to challenge yourself to come up with creative solutions to correct them or learn from them.
