Guest guest
I am so tired of everyone not believing us when we say we are in pain. I feel like my whole body is one horrible bruise, why would anyone want to fake that is beyond me. I have fibro, CFS, diabetes, high blood pressure, psoriatic arthritis and osteoarthritis. I have a lot of things that hurt me, it is very difficult to know what my pain is coming from cause all of those things can cause a lot of pain. I am 57 years old and been hurting for 8 years. I even went to physical therapy to get my back massaged. I thought I was going to jump off that table. I told her to STOP. I even had tears in my eyes, it hurt so badly, she told me she was not putting hardly any pressure on it only about 25% and that I shouldn't be hurting that bad. I told her I was and I wanted her to stop. They wanted me to do other things also and most of them I could not so I stopped going. I wish it had helped but I suffered for weeks after that. I won't do it again. The only thing that helped me was a moist heating pad on my back, now that felt wonderful. I have heard so many of you talk about a good massage, how can one stand to be massaged. It just hurts me so much. I have my first appt with a pain specialist on Friday, I sure am hoping she can help me. I have never been to one before so I really do not know what to expect. I have heard others in this group talk about it though. My PCP referred me to one cause no matter what she has given me; the pain is always so bad and never goes away. Thanks for listening to me. Thanks to all of you for having such a wonderful support group. Sherry in SC " In order to succeed you must fail, so that you know what not to do the next time.
