Guest guest
I remember my grandmother when we would go out to eat when I was a child would always refrain from eating any shellfish. I also remember her having an iodine scan that almost killed her from the reaction! I do not know what the scan was for... HMMMM I have been unable to eat shellfish or even iodized salt for years, since childhood even! It always made my face swell or diarrhea, really bad! It is strange though that I now eat sea salt, which I know has some iodine in it and I have NO problems at all with it. I just assume maybe it is in a different, or more usable form. *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat? Diabetes? Guest guest
Oh wow, I cannot handle any kind of sea food. I get so sick!!! Wow, I learn something new every day on this list!! I do swell badly if I eat salt, maybe I should try some sea salt. My urologist was going to use iodine to do some kind of test on my bladder but decided not to when he found out about my skin reaction to it. Thanks for this info.
