Guest guest
Welcome to the group Bobbi although I am sorry it is because of fibro that we have met. I have been diagnosed for 4 1/2 years but can go back into my 20's (I'm 59 now) and see that I had some of the symptoms then. I am new to the group also, but I am sure you will find the group friendly and informative just as I have. Bobbi Chukran bobbi@...> wrote: Hi guys, I'm new here.... Guest guest
I am able to work at home as an artist, and can rest when I need to.... Hi, I'm new to the group. It is so helpful to hear what everyone has to say. I feel very isolated with my disease. I thought most of my symptoms were imagined. Now I see how much they impact my day to day functioning. Bobbie you are so fortunate that you can work from home. I too would like to work from home. I have yet to figure out a solution, but I will not give up. I'll think of something. Today has been the worst day. I have been running around taking my mother in law to the Dr. and running my 5 year old to graduation practice, taking care of my mother who just fell yesterday in a store and broke her wrist, picking up my 11 year old from school, etc... Does anyone ever get so uptight with having so much on their plates that they get agitated or angry with everything? Today I had to take a Xanax just to calm down. I felt a little guilty taking it because I only take them when I'm totally desperate. Anyway, it took the edge off my day. I still have many more places and things to do before I can relax tonight. Which probably won't be until 11pm. Thanks for letting me vent, it's nice to have an outlet. Take care everyone.
Guest guest
~ I'm sorry you are feeling isolated. I can relate to your busy day. Inbetween my dr's appt's, my 2 son's have acid reflux so their dr's appts, taking & droping them off at school, soccer, gymnastics, & now baseball. Then on the weekends during school we have my daughters (step) and starting this weekend we will have them during the week. Now that school is out and the kids are home I know that my life will be a bit easier. My kids are 11, 9, 8, & 6. They all have their choirs to do and they are so helpful. They make our busy lives a little easier. >>Does anyone ever get so uptight with having so much on their plates that they get agitated or >>angry with everything? I do feel so rushed when I have a busy day. I don't have anxity attacks, but I have a epsoide of dizzyness. I try my best to not rush, but seeing how I'm always leaving something behind. I blame that on the fog. I hope you start feeling more of a relaxing state now that schools are out for the summer. Also, remember to take care of you. Let your 11 year old do somethings around the house. I always tell my 11 year old that she needs these choirs so she will be more responsable. She rolls her eyes. It so funny! I just can't WAIT till she's a teen. Oh, can't think about it now. Too scary. I will let you all know when she's at the wheel of the car. Make sure that you all stay in the house. It dosn't matter where you live. Well, everyone have a great Saturday and , I hope you don't feel as isolated as you have been. You all are in my thoughts and prayers!! ~ ---------------------------------
Guest guest
Thank you for the kind words, . Today (Saturday) is much better. Although I have doing much housework, it's still better than running around. Just sitting for a little while and decided to catch up on the e-mails. Take care all, have a wonderful weekend.
