From: barb holkins Sent: Wednesday, August 04, 2004 5:57 PM To: Lupies Subject: My long weekend Hi everyone. I guess I am rested up enough to share my great weekend. I was so relaxed that I did not want to come back and go to work. We played golf on Friday, Sat. and Sun. Some of the couples stayed and played on Monday as well. We never play with our spouse. There is a drawing each day to see who your partner will be and then we play scrambles, best ball or Pinehurst. For those of you who don't know about golf, I'm sorry but I just can't explain. Would take forever. LOL The motel where we stay gives us one wing to ourselves and lets us put up our grills on the lawn there. We have wonderful meals and play yard games until dark. There are also card games. I managed to be paired up with a couple of good golfers and we won a lot of skins as well as 1st place once. There is not a lot of money involved.
